Visiting Disneyland with Kids- The Secret Bathroom Revealed

Since I see that a lot of my friends are visiting Disneyland, I thought I’d post some things I’ve learned about visiting Disney parks with small children.

If your child is under a year old, don’t be surprised if they’re freaked out by rides, characters, or both. It’s good to determine this on short rides first. We found out that Owen didn’t like rides on the Great American Movie Ride, which lasts 20 minutes....

Each Disney park has a “Baby Center” where there’s changing tables, rocking chairs for mothers to breast feed and you can purchase extra baby supplies if you forgot something (baby food, diapers, etc).

Disney parks have great first aid stations if they end up getting a fever and you want to check their temp.

If you go on Disneyland chat boards, you might hear about the “Secret Bathroom” at Disneyland. They think it’s great fun to not tell people where it is, which I find annoying, so here it is…. It’s a family bathroom that is spacious and rarely used. It’s near the tunnel leading from the Plaza Gardens area to Rancho de Zocalo restaurant. You can’t see it until you’re right in front of it. It has a changing table and is large enough to pull the stroller in with you
